FAQs

If you are a geoSpotter
(leisure traveller in a motorhome/van)

Access to geoSpots is free, without reservation, every geoSpotter can go there and benefit from it as long as it is indicated as an available location on the mobile application.

Is it possible to reserve a geoSpot ?

The number of spaces per geoSpot is limited to three vehicles and each member is able to see if a geoSpot still has availability via the mobile application.

How many vehicles are authorised at a geoSpot ?

Each geoSpot can accommodate between one and three vehicles maximum. The maximum number of vehicles that can be accommodated in each geoSpot is noted on the mobile application, as well as the number of geoSpotters present. In light of this information, it is possible to bring up to three vehicles if the geoSpot allows it and if no other geoSpotter is already parked there.

Is it possible to bring several vehicles to a geoSpot ?

To become a geoSpotter and have access to the geoSpots, you have two options: either membership of geoSpot only for 9,99€/year or the combined membership of geoSpot with park4night+ for 14,99€/year.

How much does a geoSpot membership cost?

It is possible to benefit from both memberships at the same time. Each membership has a fixed price of 9,99€/year, and the two together are 14,99€/year.

The geoTips are established on an optional basis, so each geoSpotter can choose to give, or not to give, a geoTip to the geoHost. Nevertheless, we strongly encourage each geoSpotter to thank the geoHosts in this way that we think is adapted to everybody's individual means. The geoHost offers his private land and allows you to enjoy a privileged spot, so it is fair to thank him by a geoTip.

Is it compulsory to leave a geoTip for the geoHost ?

The geoTips are optional, each geoSpotter chooses the amount he wants to leave for the geoHost. However, we advise a geoTip of between 5 and 15€ per geoSpot, per night, it's a reasonable amount for the benefit of the privileged setting of a geoSpot while allowing the geoHost to be properly thanked by the geoSpotters for the use of his land.

Is there a recommended amount for a geoTip ?

The geoTips can be paid in cash and deposited in the geoBox on site. And if the geoHost uses Paypal or Lydia as a payment method, you can use these methods by simply providing the recipient's phone number or email address. On the other hand, if neither of these two applications are mentioned, it means that the geoHost only receives the geoTips in cash.

How can I pay the geoTips ?

Whether via Paypal or Lydia, you will need to create a user account and select your payment method.
